Ambassador Conference Center
The Ambassador Conference Center connects both the Hilton and the Marriott hotels. All meeting rooms are located within the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center. You can access these rooms easily from either the Hilton or the Courtyard.
- The Desert Dining Room, Mirage Conference Room, and Garden Atrium Ballroom are closer to the Hilton.
- The Crystal Ballroom is closer to the Courtyard.
Hilton Garden Overview
Upon entering the Hilton, you’ll find:
- A lounge area on the left
- A hallway and a restaurant on the right
- A snack display about 20 feet straight ahead
- A slight left leads you about five steps to the check-in desk
Navigating the Hilton
From the Check-in Desk to the Elevators
- Go left from the front desk for about 8 steps
- Turn right into a long hallway
- After about 20 steps, the elevators will be on your right
- If you pass the elevators, you’ll encounter a glass exit door; turn right to find the elevators
From the Elevator to the Restaurant
- Head back toward the snack display and go straight
- If entering through the Hilton’s main door, the restaurant will be on your right
To Reach the Mirage Conference and Desert Dining Rooms
- Exit the restaurant through the opposite door into an open area
- Follow the hallway with tile on the right and carpet on the left for 34 steps, then turn left
- Go down a narrower hallway; restrooms will be halfway down on the left
- Continue straight to reach the Mirage Conference Room
Alternatively:
- After the initial 34 steps, walk 15 more steps to enter the Desert Dining Room
From the Elevators to the Crystal Ballroom
- Take the hallway to the left when facing out the Hilton entrance
- Follow the long tiled hall, staying on the right
- Take the first right into a narrower hallway
- Once on carpet, continue until you reach a wall, then turn left to find the Crystal Ballroom door
From the Elevators to the Garden Atrium Ballroom
- Go toward the Hilton entrance and take the hall to the left of the entrance
- Stay along the right wall until you reach a smaller archway
- After passing through, make a slight left; you will be on carpet leading to the Garden Atrium Ballroom
Marriott Courtyard Overview
When entering the Marriott:
- There are two check-in desks on the right with carpet in front of each
- A small restaurant/snack bar is on the left
- A carpeted lounge area lies a few feet ahead
Navigating the Marriott
From the Check-in Desk to the Elevators
- From the front desk, turn left
- Or, from the entrance, walk straight until you reach the carpeted lounge
- Stay on the tile, turn right for about seven steps, then turn right again; there will be an elevator on each side
From the Marriott Elevator to the Hilton’s Larger Restaurant
- Exit the elevator and turn left to find the carpeted lounge area
- Follow the carpet, staying on the tile as you pass:
- A small restaurant on the left
- An ATM and restrooms on the right
- Turn right at the wider hallway
- Walk until you hit the carpet, then shift slightly left to follow the hall, alternating between tile and carpet
- Continue straight through the transitions between tile and carpet
- At the end of the hall, turn right to reach the restaurant entrance
Note: If you turn left instead, you’ll exit the Hilton through the automatic doors.
From Marriott to the Crystal Ballroom
- Follow the carpet from the Marriott entrance as if heading to the Hilton Dining Room
- After passing the restrooms and reaching the wider hall, continue straight across to the carpet
- Go straight ahead to a wall, then veer left slightly to find the door to the Crystal Ballroom
From the Marriott Elevator to the Garden Atrium Ballroom
- Exit the elevator and turn left to find the carpeted lounge area
- Follow the carpet until you encounter a textured tile walkway on your right
- Follow this walkway to the door of the Garden Atrium Ballroom
From the Marriott Elevator to the Desert Dining and Mirage Conference Rooms in the Hilton
- Exit the elevator and turn left toward the carpeted lounge
- Stay on the tile, walking straight past:
- A small restaurant on the left
- An ATM and restrooms on the right
- At the wider hallway, turn right and continue until you reach carpet
- Shift slightly left to follow the hall, alternating between tile and carpet
To reach the Desert Dining Room:
- After the second hallway section with both tile and carpet, take a slight left, staying on the carpet
To reach the Mirage Conference Room:
- Pass the Desert Dining Room, turn right down the hall, and continue straight past the restrooms
Local Restaurants
Cracker Barrel
While accessible from the Hilton, the route isn’t recommended for those with visual impairments due to safety concerns. If attempting the route:
- Exit the Hilton front door and walk straight
- Upon reaching the island/curb, follow it left
- Be aware of complex turns and obstacles, such as a low tree limb
To Burger King or Applebee’s
While easier to reach than Cracker Barrel, these restaurants still require navigating outdoor paths:
- From the Marriott’s front door:
- Walk straight to find the island/curb, then follow it left
- Turn the corner and walk halfway (about five steps), then turn left and cross (10-12 steps) to find stairs with handrails
- There is no parking near the stairs
- To Applebee’s:
- At the bottom of the stairs, walk straight about 30 feet
- Turn left to reach the sidewalk, which leads along the building to the front entrance
- To Burger King:
- From the bottom of the stairs, walk straight for 10 feet
- Turn right and walk 30 feet uphill through the parking lot
- Turn left and continue uphill to reach the building’s entrance
