The National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania invites you to skip the crowds, stay home, and still make a meaningful impact through one of our most creative fundraisers of the year—the AbsentTea.
Inspired by the elegance of a traditional afternoon tea, the AbsentTea celebrates all the charm of delicate china, finger foods, and raised pinkies without requiring you to leave your house, shop for an outfit, or rearrange your schedule. It is the loveliest event you’ll never attend.
Instead of spending an afternoon at a banquet table, your participation directly supports programs that empower older adults who are experiencing vision loss across Pennsylvania. Funds raised through the AbsentTea help provide mentoring, resources, encouragement, and opportunities that enable blind and low-vision seniors to remain active, independent, and engaged in the lives they choose.
How Your Support Helps

- Information and resources
- Opportunities to remain active and productive
- Training and encouragement to continue living independently at home

- Unlimited AbsentTea Ticket — $35
- Unlimited Table for 10 — $300
For those who appreciate premium non-attendance:
- VIP Early Entry Premium Ticket — $50
- VIP Table for 10 — $450
